Steinbach Christian School is an Independent Funded School. As a result, we receive only 50% of the provincial funding that public schools receive. The remaining difference is achieved through tuition and fundraising.

Tuition amounts for the 2025/2026 school year are as follows:

• Kindergarten: $2,700
• Grades 1 to 4: $4,500
• Grades 5 to 8: $5,290
• Grades 9 to 12: $5,780

Family Rate Subsidy
Steinbach Christian School has a tuition subsidy program for families. The Family Rate Subsidy will apply automatically to tuition amounts over $16,000. The Family Rate Subsidy is limited to $5,500 per year per family. This amount will be reviewed by the Board each year along with annual tuition rates.
Families requiring additional assistance are encouraged to apply for Financial Assistance.

A certain percent of tuition paid is receipted as a charitable donation - usually around 40%.

SCS offers a variety of payment methods for your convenience. You may choose to pay tuition in advance, or in monthly installments.

Payment plans are facilitated by our tuition management company, Rotessa, at no additional cost to SCS families. To start a monthly payment plan, please complete the Online Rotessa Authorization Form or download the Printable Rotessa Authorization Form and hand in to the office.

For families that would like to send their children to SCS but need help with tuition, financial assistance is available. Assistance is based on family income and may cover up to 50% of tuition. Please read our Financial Assistance Page to determine an estimate of your potential financial assistance.
